At The smarter E Europe in Munich on June 23, CORNEX presented its full-scenario energy storage lineup. The star of the show was the flagship M6 BESS, designed to support Europe’s shift toward sustainable energy.
Built for 4-to-8-Hour Duration
The M6 container uses CORNEX’s own 588Ah cells and a CTP structure. It delivers 6.26MWh inside a standard 20-foot footprint, which the company says is an industry-leading figure. This compact design improves land use by 33% and cuts the number of containers needed for large projects by 20%, addressing Europe’s land shortage directly.
Designed for European Conditions
CORNEX tuned the M6 for local environmental standards and site flexibility. The system runs at ≤65dB, quiet enough for residential areas, and carries a C5-H corrosion rating for coastal or harsh environments. An integrated liquid cooling system keeps temperatures under 35°C, boosting system lifespan by 20%. All units meet international safety certifications, offering what CORNEX calls a “predictable and dependable” platform for grid peak-shaving and renewable integration.
Also New Cells for Home and Micro-Mobility
Beyond utility-scale systems, CORNEX launched new cells for home energy and small electric vehicles. The 314Ah, 120Ah, and 100Ah cells focus on safety for household use, while cylindrical cells with over 2,500 cycles target the growing light EV market. With a planned 200GWh production capacity, CORNEX aims to scale up the M6 container later this year, ensuring stable and fast supply to help Europe reach its clean energy goals.
