BEIJING — The 14th Energy Storage International Summit and Exhibition (ESIE 2026) closed with a landmark performance from EVE Energy, which used the three-day event (April 1-3) to unveil its full-scenario energy storage portfolio, debut the industry’s first 6.9MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), sign over 50GWh in strategic framework agreements, and earn multiple international safety certifications. These achievements solidify EVE’s dominant position in the global large-format utility-scale energy storage segment.

Industry-Leading 6.9MWh Mr.Big Family BESS Sets New Benchmarks

The centerpiece of EVE’s exhibition was the global premiere of its 6.9MWh large-scale BESS, the latest addition to its Mr.Big Family series. Built on the company’s proven large-format battery platform, the system delivers three transformative advantages that redefine utility-scale storage economics and reliability:

  • High-Efficiency Integration: Featuring a standard 20-foot container design, the system achieves a 10% increase in overall energy density, with individual cell volumetric energy density exceeding 430Wh/L. This optimized design reduces project land footprint by 6%, translating to approximately RMB 2.6 million in upfront capital savings per 200MWh station.

  • Ultra-Long Service Life: The system delivers 10,000 cycles at 70% state of health (SOH), matching the lifespan of the underlying cells. EVE’s intelligent 3A active balancing technology combined with precision thermal management ensures system-wide temperature differences remain ≤5°C, guaranteeing stable performance throughout the entire 25-year operational lifecycle.

  • Multi-Dimensional Safety: It incorporates a 1500V DC full-voltage five-level graded protection architecture, paired with an innovative "AI monitoring + composite detection + staged fire suppression" solution that creates a complete safety loop from early warning to rapid intervention and long-term containment.

50GWh+ Strategic Contracts Validate Market Leadership

During the exhibition, EVE Energy signed centralized strategic cooperation agreements with five industry leaders: Goldwind Zero Carbon, JinkoSolar Energy Storage, Linyang Energy, CEEC Energy Storage Technology, and Ronghe Yuanchu Energy Storage. The partnerships focus on large-format battery storage deployment and core product supply, with cumulative contracted volume exceeding 50GWh. This massive order backlog represents overwhelming market validation and customer confidence in EVE’s mature, field-proven energy storage solutions.

International Safety Certifications Accelerate Global Expansion

Safety remains the cornerstone of EVE’s product development philosophy. At ESIE 2026, CSA Group awarded EVE Energy a large-scale fire test certificate for its 5MWh BESS based on 628Ah large-format cells. The test was conducted in strict compliance with CSA/ANSI C800:25, UL 9540A, and NFPA 855 international standards, comprehensively verifying the system’s fire safety and thermal runaway prevention capabilities.

Additionally, EVE’s 261kWh outdoor all-in-one energy storage cabinet obtained SGS CB/CE/AS triple certification, while the new S6900 storage system earned SGS CB/CE certifications. These global accreditations streamline market access and accelerate EVE’s international expansion strategy across key regions including Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.

From the world-first 6.9MWh BESS technology breakthrough to authoritative international safety endorsements and record-breaking contract signings, EVE Energy’s performance at ESIE 2026 underscores its deep expertise and accumulated advantages in the large-format energy storage sector. Looking ahead, EVE remains committed to long-term value creation, continuously advancing core large-capacity storage technologies, and collaborating with global partners to build a sustainable new energy ecosystem and drive the global green energy transition.
